Barcode Track and Trace System
Take Note!
- The The Barcode Track and Trace System (BTTS) is an online digital platform that captures and provides real-time data on commodities distribution, usage, and stock availability simultaneously at all levels.
- BTTS is a commodity barcoding mechanism and is compliant to FDA’s good distribution practices as per Circular No. 2015-011. The BTTS was conceptualized and introduced even prior to the UHC Act and the ongoing work of the eLMIS. It originated primarily in response to RA 10354 or the Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health (RPRH) Law and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR). The said legislation and IRR stipulated logistics management and monitoring mechanisms, as well as key personnel complement through regional officers, to ensure effective transportation, storage, and distribution of reproductive health products and supplies to their respective destination LGUs.
